Rafe Judkins has created The Wheel of Time, a high-fantasy television series. It follows a diverse cast in a vast universe battling the Dark One, a powerful entity. The show features a deep history, nuanced characters, and a grand narrative. It attracted viewers of all ages with its deep history and intricate characters.

Currently, the show is streaming for two seasons on Prime Video. The first two seasons are based on the first two novels, The Eye of the World and The Great Hunt. Amazon released a brief teaser for season 3 in March 2024, announcing that production has concluded. In 2023, it was revealed that the third season would be based on the fourth and the fifth novels, The Shadow Rising and Fires of Heaven.

However, it is speculated that The Wheel of Time season 3 will be covering a total of three books. The third book, The Fires of Heaven, could also be included as the storyline is connected.

The Wheel Of Time season 3 combines three books

The first two seasons were focused on The Eye of the World (book 1) and The Great Hunt (book 2). At San Diego Comic-Con in July 2023, showrunner Rafe Judkins revealed that the third season will focus on The Shadow Rising (book 4). At the New York Comic-Con, he also revealed that season 3 will have elements of The Fires of Heaven (book 5).

At New York Comic-Con, showrunner Rafe Judkins teased that audiences will meet additional Forsaken members in season 3. It will explore Dreamwalking, an ability to enter the dreams of others. Considering the series is interpreting a 14-book trip from the page to the small screen, it is not possible to read a book every season, but neither is it practical to skip entire novels.

Because the majority have a lot of content connected, it makes them difficult to ignore. So, The Fires of Heaven (book 3) could also be included in season 3 of The Wheel of Time. It will provide a more streamlined yet accurate version of the original work. However, there is no official announcement about season 3 yet.
