What are The Wonderland Massacre & the Secret History of Hollywood about?

The Wonderland Massacre also referred to as the Four on the Floor Murders, involved the brutal killing of four individuals at a known drug house operated by the Wonderland Gang. On July 1, 1981, intruders, believed to have been sent by Eddie Nash in retaliation for a robbery two days prior, entered the townhouse and savagely beat the occupants with blunt instruments, leading to the death of Ron Launius, William Deverell, Joy Miller, and Barbara Richardson.

The gang was heavily involved in the local drug trade, and their lifestyle of constant partying and violence set the stage for this violent retribution.

What did Eddie Nash from The Wonderland Massacre & the Secret History of Hollywood do to Dawn Schiller?

As a nightclub owner, Eddie Nash was one of the notable figures in the Los Angeles underworld not only due to his nightclub business but his other shady businesses as well, such as the drug trade and violence against his rivals. There was not much of a direct connection between Dawn Schiller and Eddie Nash but the latter's presence in her life because of John Holmes was particularly overwhelming for her.

The Wonderland Gang of The Wonderland Massacre & the Secret History of Hollywood, which Hit Man Ed claimed was burglarized by Nash's home, is said to have hired Holmes to do this, although he later suffered serious consequences from Nash. This circumstance put Schiller at more risk since Holmes had been getting more violent and unstable because of pressures from Nash.

The oscillation between periods of Nash looking for other properties and beating people up with tremendous hominoid violence leads to his indictment and conviction under the RICO act for that reason as compulsory and rather unpleasant for Schiller, who as a girl had the misfortune to be within Holmes’s sphere of destruction.
