Created by Jemaine Clement, Iain Morris, and Taika Waititi. Time Bandits is a fantasy adventure comedy series, making its global debut on July 24, 20204. It is a TV series adaptation of Terry Gilliam’s film of the same name which was released in 1981.
Gilliam has also been revealed to join the new reboot in a non-writing executive production role. The series was announced in 2018 after Apple Inc. closed a deal to develop the reboot with Paramount Television Studios, MRC Television, and Anonymous Content.

How many episodes are there in Time Bandits
Time Bandits is slated to run for 10 episodes from July 24 to August 21, 2024. The episodes will be released every week on Wednesday for five weeks from the premiere date in a doubleheader format. As it has been made public, the creators will be writing the first two episodes, and Waititi will be directing them.
From the third through tenth episodes, they will be penned by Clement, Morris, Akilah Green, Sam Bain, Tyrell Williams, and Melanie Bracewell. Below is the complete release schedule of Time Bandits:

Plot summary:
Time Bandits follows a group of ragtag thieves who get their hands on a powerful map that grants the possessor to travel through space and time. The map has been stolen from the Supreme Being by this group of thieves, which is anticipated to be a great calamity if the natural order is disturbed.
However, the Supreme Being is more concerned with what happens if the map falls into the wrong hands and brings destruction to the world. Amidst all this chaos, Kevin, a young boy accidentally caught up with the band of thieves, is swept into a whirlwind of adventures, encountering legendary historical figures and witnessing events beyond his wildest dreams
