Time Bandits episodes 3 and 4 will be released on July 31, 2024. The latest series is a new addition to Apple TV’s sci-fi catalog that has generated significant excitement, mostly due to Taika Waititi helming the show and is also providing scripts alongside Jemaine Clement and Iain Morris. The series also sees the renowned Lisa Kudrow as Penelope, the self-acclaimed leader of the eponymous crew.

Time Bandits episodes 3 and 4 will be released on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, both dropping at 12:00 pm ET at once. While most of the series just have a double-header debut, the new sci-fi adventure will be running for 10 episodes all following the same release format of two episodes a week.

Time Bandits episodes 3 and 4 will be available to stream exclusively on Apple TV+, the only platform to include the series in its diverse catalog. For those who are new to the streaming giant, the subscription plans of Apple TV+ range from $9.99/month to $99/yearly.

The first episode’s first quarter served as an introduction to Kevin (Kal-El Tuck), an avid history enthusiast who mostly spends his time reading books.
Even for his birthday, all Kevin wanted was to visit the Woodhenge in Wiltshire, England. Being used to their son’s peculiar interest, given his age, Kevin’s parents were showcased to pay less attention to him and his interests.
Suddenly, one fated day, Kevin discovered that his closet became a doorway to someplace in the past, through which a medieval warrior barged in and soon escaped. Kevin’s parent didn’t believe in him. The next day, he experienced the same thing but now there were five bandits, who were running away from the Supreme Being with a powerful map.
Penelope (Lisa Kudrow), explained to Kevin that his room was a timed egress, a jump point that opens up portals at a specific location at a specific time. After the Supreme Being managed to locate the bandits, they eventually fled and Kevin inadvertently joined them. The first destination they arrived at was a Chinese pirate ship of Madam Chung.

Using his knowledge and without tampering with the events, Kevin helped Chung escape the ongoing conflict and later headed to another timeline when Stonehenge was being constructed. Given there was still time for the next portal to appear, Kevin and the bandits decided to rest for the night.
The next day, after entering the portal, the bandits were excited to steal the famous Trojan Horse but were disappointed after finding out that it was a huge structure. Widgit (Roger Jean Nsengiyumva) discovered that the portal was inside Troy, so they had no option but to sneak in. Eventually, Kevin met the Trojan priestess, Cassandra who could tell the future.
Kevin learned that her story was not a myth. Elsewhere, Wrongness (Jemaine Clement) found out that the map was stolen from the Supreme Being. As it became easier for him to get his hands on the artifact he sent one of his minions to retrieve it. In the fourth attempt, the group decided to escort Kevin safely back to his home.
Although following Widgit they arrived at the exact location, it eventually turned out that they arrived during the Ice Age. The fifth attempt landed them in the classic period of Maya civilization where Kevin suspected the queen would sacrifice them as per rituals, but his knowledge regarding this proved to be false as the Maya people were welcoming.
At last, the bandits helped Kevin reach his home. However, unfortunately, the boy had to leave with them once again as his parents were turned into coal by the demon sent by Wrongsness. Meanwhile, the Supreme Being was frustrated that his map got stolen, and he wanted to reveal something secret to his confederates.

What to expect from Time Bandits episodes 3 and 4?
Time Bandits episodes 3 and 4 haven’t released a promo teaser as of now. However, given how the latest episode ended, the upcoming installments will take Kevin and the bandits on new adventures, where they will explore more historical events and people. The titles for episode 3 and 4 are “Medieval” and “Prohibition”
Based on the forecast Cassandra of Troy revealed, Kevin will be seeing more historical structures before they were built, creatures that are extinct in the present world, and he will be playing a pivotal role in saving the universe whilst sticking with the ragtag motley crew.
