The pop star died from falling off the third-floor balcony of the CasaSur Hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on October 16, 2024. The circumstances around his death have become the subject of many news pieces and documentaries in a short time. ABC News Studios also recently released a documentary episode, titled Liam Payne's Final Days, which premiered on October 24, 2024, on Hulu.

As per TMZ's December 14 report, Nores was with Liam the day he died and has stated that he checked on the singer three times that day and he seemed fine, although a little tipsy. However, this got him in the crosshairs with the Argentinian authorities, who said that Payne was not only heavily drinking that day but was also doing cocaine.
