Disney+ has an exciting catalog for its viewers in the month of September 2024. The streaming giant is known for being the one-stop destination for all things Disney, Pixar, National Geographic, Marvel, and Star Wars. And to cater to its vast audience, it has released some exciting shows that will premiere next month.

From ABC's Dancing with the Stars and Marvel's Agatha All Along to LEGO Pixar: Bricktoons and LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy, Disney is launching a wide variety of shows. Not only this, there are also some new releases specifically targeted at the younger crowd. Like Disney Jr.'s. Ariel and Chibi Tiny Tales.

LEGO Pixar: BrickToons, Dancing with the Stars, Agatha All Along, and other shows to watch on Disney+ in September 2024

1) Agatha All Along

This upcoming series is based on the Marvel Comics character, Agatha Harkness, and is a spin-off of WandaVision. Created by Jac Schaeffer and part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Agatha All Along’s titular role is reprised by Kathryn Hahn. Other actors are Aubrey Plaza and Joe Locke. The show is set to premiere on September 18 on Disney+ with a two-episode premiere.

The show takes place after the events of WandaVision, where Agatha was left trapped in Westview. In this show, she escapes with the help of a goth teen who wants to experience the legendary Witches’ Road. But Agatha doesn’t have her powers and therefore sets out to create a new coven with the teenager.


2) Kindergarten: The Musical

A colorful and fun show for the toddlers, Kindergarten: The Musical will premiere on Disney+ on September 4. The show is set in a kindergarten classroom at Porter Elementary and revolves around five-year-old Berti and her new friends.

The show mixes musical and drama to show Berti’s excitement and nervousness upon starting school. To enrapture the little viewers, the show is filled with Broadway-style song and dance numbers. Through the show, the children will learn to strengthen their imagination and learn how to express their feelings.

The popular dance reality show will be back with its 33rd season on September 17 on Disney+. Co-hosted by Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough, Dancing with the Stars sees viewers’ favorite celebrities fight it out in a dance battle.

Paired with professional choreographers, each episode has a different theme and a star-studded panel of judges—Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Toniolo, and Derek Hough—get to judge them. One of the confirmed contestants this time is gymnast Stephen Nedoroscik, who is a two-time Olympic bronze medalist.


4) LEGO Pixar: BrickToons

Premiering on September 4 on Disney+, LEGO Pixar: BrickToons will introduce the viewers to their favorite Pixar characters like Nemo, Miguel, and Lightning McQueen for a joyride of an adventure in the land of LEGO.

Some of the exciting adventures include singing along with Miguel in the Land of the Dead, watching Mater help Lightning McQueen for a big race, and taking a field trip with Nemo, Marlin, and Dory. The show will have five stories and is sure to enthrall the kids.


5) LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy

Directed by Chris Buckley and including a voice cast of Gaten Matarazzo, Marsai Martin, Mark Hamill, and others, LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy premieres on Disney+ on September 13. In this animated show, the Star Wars Galaxy gets jumbled up when a nerf-herder, Sig, finds a powerful artifact from a Jedi temple.

Thrust into a wild and twisted world where good people are bad and bad people are good. Sig is the last hope to straighten all this together. The show is an interesting take on the Star Wars saga, and intertwining it with the LEGO world makes it a must-watch for fans of both.


6) Disney Jr.’s Ariel

An exciting new series for preschoolers, this animated musical is an adaptation of ‘The Little Mermaid’ story. It revolves around a young eight-year-old Ariel, who is a mermaid princess and embarks on various fun-filled and action-packed adventures through the underwater world of Atlantica and more.

The Caribbean-themed show includes characters like King Triton, Ursula, Flounder, and new additions like Lucia, and Fernie, who are Ariel’s friends. The show began airing on Disney+ on June 27, with new episodes set to air on September 6 and 30.


7) Chibi Tiny Tales

Viewers can enjoy their favorite Disney characters embarking on yet another season of fun, little adventures on Disney+ as the fifth season of Chibi Tiny Tales is set to release on September 7 with six new episodes. Some famous characters include Phineas, Perry the Platypus, and Kim Impossible.

Following the format of Big Chibi 6: The Shorts, Chibi Tiny Tales have little spoken dialogue and instead hold the viewers attention through vocal effects like laughs, screams, and speech bubbles. The shorts are directed by Sabrina Alberghetti.


8) Ayla & the Mirrors

Directed by Javier Pullido, Ana Vázquez, and María Pulido and starring Violeta Madel, Daniela Monter, and Cristian López, this new Spanish drama series will premiere on September 27. The story revolves around Ayla, a rich and spoiled girl who suffers from shock after her father dies, leading her to forget all memories.

With no other family members to help her, she reaches the El Bosque shelter, where she meets the dance group, Inés and The Mirrors. Ayla also discovers that she has the ability to hear the feelings of others through musical visions. In a parallel plot, her aunt Esmeralda watches Ayla carefully so that she does not become a threat to her inherited fortune. This show blends dance, drama, music, and the fantastical.
