What to expect from the next episode?

Episode 2 shows Chickie making a lucrative offer to Goodie; he offers to give Goodie the whole of Tulsa for business if he helps Chickie bring down Dwight. Goodie had earlier betrayed Chickie by shaking hands with Dwight.

Goodie does not make up his mind by the end of episode 2, and his dilemma is evident from the fact that he does not dismiss Chickie’s offer altogether. If Goodie decides to go back to Chickie’s gang now, that could be disastrous to Dwight.

Alternatively, if Goodie only keeps in touch with Chickie, extracts crucial information from him, and then passes the same on to Dwight, Chickie would be in trouble. Thus, a lot of the plot depends on Goodie’s decision, which might be revealed in the next episode.

The season 2 premiere already highlighted the animosity between Cal Thresher and Dwight. The former would not tolerate the latter’s presence in Tulsa since he considers the place his turf.

In episode 2, a court trial is on against Dwight, for having allegedly bribed Stacy Beale. The U.S. Attorney is determined to send Dwight back to prison. However, during a meeting with the attorney, Dwight sees proof of his communication with Thresher.

Thus, the attorney is working with Thresher, trying his best to prevent Dwight's entry into Tulsa’s marijuana business. The next episode is expected to show the verdict of the trial. Further, the nexus between the attorney and Tresher could also be explored.

Going by its synopsis, Tulsa King season 2 episode 3 is also supposed to feature a showdown between Dwight and Bill Bevilaqua. Dwight has already met Tresher in the season premiere, and a face-off with Bill, Tresher’s associate, would undoubtedly stir up the plot further.

Family has been a prominent theme in Tulsa King. With both his daughter, Tina, and younger sister, Joanna, in Tulsa, Dwight also has to protect his family from whatever dangers may come from his enemies.
