Episode 6 of Tulsa King season 2 was released on Paramount+ on October 20, 2024. The latest episode of the series brings together Dwight and Bill for a sit-down in Atlanta, where the rivals discuss terms in order to settle the animosity between them.

However, as the episode progresses, it becomes clear that Bill has no intentions of honoring the deal he struck with “The General” in Atlanta. Further, episode 6 also shows that even though Cal Thresher is subdued for now, following a series of setbacks, his associate Jackie Ming cannot wait to teach Dwight a lesson.

The ending of episode 6 of Tulsa King season 2 seemingly suggests that Jackie hired men to plant a bomb in Dwight’s most frequently used car, the Navigator. The plot, however, is thickened by the fact that it is Tyson’s father who falls victim to the blast.

Tulsa King season 2 episode 6 ending: Jackie Ming is escalating the fight

Towards the beginning of the episode, Tyson, Dwight’s right-hand man, calls his boss and asks him if he can use Dwight’s Navigator to escort his father to work. The General will be in Atlanta and has no problems with Tyson using the car for a day.

Tyson’s father is an honest man who is struggling to make ends meet in an honest way. When he seems to like the car a lot and tells Tyson how a man of his standing would never be able to afford such a vehicle, it moves Tyson. Later in the episode, he calls Dwight again and proposes that he buy it from the General for his father. Dwight, again, has no problem with it.

Thus, Tyson gifts the car to his father as the episode draws to its end. His father is overwhelmed to receive this gift. Meanwhile, some complications have come up elsewhere.

As Tulsa King season 2 episode 6 begins, a restless Jackie confronts his boss Thresher about Dwight, since his men were beaten up by the General and company in the previous episode. Jackie tells Thresher to escalate the fight against Dwight. Thresher, however, seems to have given up.

Thus, Jackie takes matters into his own hands. As the episode progresses, he talks to one of his associates, and a white car starts following the Navigator. As Tyson’s father gets into the car the next day, it explodes.

While it is not yet clear whether the blast has killed the old man, it is quite reasonable to conclude that Jackie is behind this attack, since the car actually belongs to Dwight, and Jackie may have been hoping to take him out with this surprise offensive. Tyson’s father is seemingly an unfortunate victim of the gang war that has by now completely engulfed Tulsa.

What happens in Atlanta?

As expected, the long-awaited sit-down between Chickie, Dwight, and Bill takes place in Tulsa King season 2 episode 6. However, the prologue to the meeting is a little comedic, as Chickie gets detained at the airport for carrying a gun, and has to miss the meeting altogether.

Vince, Chickie’s associate who originally arranged the sit-down, attends the meeting on his boss’ behalf. However, the meeting does not go according to Chickie’s plan. Dwight agrees to give Bill 15% of his profits from Tulsa, and weed at $575 per pound, only as a goodwill gesture since Bill is his neighbor and he does not want the fight to go on.

However, the New York faction of Chickie gets nothing since Dwight sees no utility in appeasing him. When Chickie hears this from Vince, he is visibly irritated. This outcome of the sit-down will no doubt affect the future happenings in Tulsa King season 2.

As the episode progresses, however, Bill makes it clear that he will not honor the settlement Dwight and he reached in Atlanta. Given the fact that The General’s men killed his friend, Caputo, he wants revenge, not an agreement.

What are Tina and Joanne up to?

The personal life of Dwight is given quite a bit of focus in Tulsa King season 2. Episode 6 starts with Tina expressing her wish to learn how to fire a gun. The General agrees to it and asks Mitch to help Tina with the same.

Dwight’s sister, Joanne, meanwhile, has started taking more and more interest in the weed business of her brother. She meets Bodhi and company at the bar and introduces a host of ideas to boost their operation. The gang seems to like her and her ideas well enough.

The next episode of Tulsa King season 2 will be released on October 27, 2024.
