Episode 7 of Tulsa King season 2 was released on Paramount+ on October 27, 2024. The previous episode ended with a cliffhanger, as Tyson’s father fell victim to a bomb blast that was originally meant for Dwight.

In the latest episode, the plot thickens as all the principal characters grapple with the consequences of the blast. Dwight and his men start investigating the matter, with Dwight getting closer to finding out that it was Jackie Ming who orchestrated the attack.

Tyson, however, is emotionally rattled by what has happened to his father, who, though not dead, is gravely injured. Tyson thinks Bill Bevilaqua arranged the car bombing. As a result, by the end of the episode, Tyson drives to Bill’s den and shoots one of his associates.

Tyson’s action will only escalate matters in Tulsa King season 2 because now Bill, two of whose close associates have been killed by Dwight’s men already, will surely try to hit back. Coupled with this, the threat from Ming remains.

Tulsa King season 2 episode 7 ending: Tyson’s action might start a violent chain reaction

Since the beginning of episode 7 of Tulsa King season 2, Tyson is seen harboring the strong belief that Bill planted the bomb in the General’s Navigator. Dwight asks his devoted follower to hold his horses, at least until some solid proof comes up linking Bill to the blast.

Tyson, however, grows impatient. He can see that his family loathes him and thinks he is no better than a “two-bit gangster,” as his mother puts it. She even tells him not to meet his father in her presence, stating he has lost the right to be called their son due to his involvement with Dwight and his operations. This deeply hurts Tyson and fuels his desire for revenge.

Midway through episode 7, Mitch tries to talk some sense into Tyson, telling him that he should think twice before pulling the trigger and killing someone because a murder will fundamentally change him. However, Tyson thinks he cannot redeem himself unless he has taken revenge on whom he thinks is the culprit: Bill.

As the episode progresses, Tyson borrows a car from the plant that Dwight is about to buy, planning to drive to Kansas City to meet Bill. Before he does that, he visits his father in the hospital and tells him:

“If I let this go, how will I even be able to look you in your eye again?”

When Tyson’s father is able to somewhat move once again, he calls Dwight and tells him to stop Tyson from doing something rash. The General tries to dissuade Tyson, but he has already reached Bill’s mansion.

This is where the plot of Tulsa King season 2 takes a crucial turn. One of Bill’s trusted associates spots Tyson and opens fire. Tyson retaliates, killing the former. This action will no doubt amp up the enmity between Dwight and Bill.

What is Dwight up to?

Dwight starts his investigation

Dwight is overwhelmed by Tyson’s father’s tragedy, but he understands that the attack was actually meant for him. Thus, he starts looking into the matter himself. First, he goes to the place where the accident took place and bribes a resident to get the CCTV footage of the event.

While reviewing the footage, Dwight and Bodhi spot a white Prius car that was following the Navigator all day prior to the blast. Dwight then goes to Paul and gives him $10k in exchange for tracking down the ownership details of the car.

Dwight confronts Thresher

Confrontations between Dwight and Thresher have been frequent in Tulsa King season 2. In episode 7, Dwight directly asks him if he designed the attack. Thresher, of course, has no idea about it. However, Thresher confronts Jackie Ming regarding this.

As rightly predicted last week, Jackie is revealed to be the one who had the bomb planted in the Navigator. Thresher is naturally furious at this. Jackie, however, kills the man who did the job for him and destroys the Prius under a crusher. Little does he know that the General has already got the details about the car.

Dwight cautions Margaret

The blooming romance between the General and Margaret has got ample attention in Tulsa King season 2, and episode 7 is no different. However, in this episode, Dwight suggests that Margaret should probably stay a little away from him for a while, as things are about to get dangerous.

Margaret, however, is deeply in love with Dwight and refuses to abandon him. She tells him:

“Here’s the deal. Tough times don’t last, but tough people do. That’s you and me. We’ve had to be, or else people walk all over us … I want you.”

Thus, it is clear that no matter how difficult things get, Dwight and Margaret are in this together.

What is Vince planning?

The brewing animosity between Chickie and Vince in Tulsa King season 2 has been no secret. In episode 7, this goes up a notch. Chickie gets increasingly insecure about Vince’s growing influence within the mafia, while Vince is forever worried about having to face the consequences of the actions of the hot-headed Chickie.

In the latest episode, Vince meets his other associates from the mafia and plans to dispose of Chickie, following which they could shake hands with Dwight, who is still respected within the organization. Only the next episodes can tell what lies in store for Chickie.

The next episode of Tulsa King season 2 will be released on November 3, 2024.
