Episode 6 of Tulsa King season 2 was released on Paramount+ on October 20, 2024. The animosity between Thresher, Bill, and Dwight can no longer be deemed a cold war since Thresher’s associate, Jackie Ming, significantly escalates the fight in the latest episode by having a bomb planted in the General’s most frequently used car, the Navigator.

What happened in Tulsa King season 2 episode 6?
The episode begins with Tina wanting to learn how to fire a gun. Dwight asks Mitch to help her with it. Elsewhere in Atlanta, a sit-down has been arranged to establish a truce between Dwight, Bill, and Chickie.
Due to being detained at the airport, Chickie cannot attend the meeting, and he is represented by Vince. The meeting itself yields nothing beneficial for Chickie since Bill and Dwight shake hands on a mutually agreed deal while keeping nothing for Chickie.
In Tulsa, since Dwight is away, Tyson spends the day with his father, who is struggling to feed his family the honest way. Seeing that his father likes the General’s car, the Navigator, Tyson decides to buy it from Dwight and gift it to his father.
The plot of Tulsa King season 2 episode 6, however, is primarily propelled by Jackie Ming, who asks Thresher to raise his pitch against Dwight. Seeing that Thresher is unwilling to do so, Jackie takes matters into his own hands, asking one of his men to plant a bomb in the Navigator.
The next day, when Tyson’s father gets into the car, it blows up. The blast was meant for Dwight, of course, but it strikes the old man. The episode ends with a screaming Tyson keeps calling after his dad.
What to expect from Tulsa King season 2 episode 7?
The upcoming episode will have to deal with the aftermath of the blast. Dwight has been an affectionate father figure to Tyson. The latter’s distress will no doubt prompt him to rethink his stance against his enemies in Tulsa.
Further, in the latest episode, Bill makes it clear that he does not intend to honor the agreement he and Dwight reached in Atlanta. Thus, the next episode might show what new sinister plans he has in mind.
Elsewhere, Jackie has already raised the stakes by going after Dwight directly. This will implicate his boss, Thresher, as well and he will also have to bear the consequences. It remains to be seen what steps Dwight takes against them.
The latest episode also shows that Manny has finally understood that Thresher has been merely using him for inside information. When he asks Thresher to stop it, the latter snaps, threatening him saying that he will do anything he likes. Thus, Manny’s predicament might be elaborated on in the upcoming episode.
