Tulsa King Season 2 is finally happening, and, this time, the smacks are going to be harder. The much-awaited crime comedy is all set to premiere on Sunday, September 15, 2024. Along with creator Taylor Sheridan and writer Terence Winter, American filmmaker Craig Zisk joins the team, as the director of Tulsa King Season 2.
In the series, Sylvester Stallone plays the role of its central protagonist Dwilight, or "The General" an ex-mafia from New York. After spending twenty-five years in prison, he's released and sent to the city of Tulsa in Oklahoma. Though initially sent on a mission by his boss, Dwilight soon starts to set up his criminal organization in the city.
The first season was released on Paramount Plus on November 13, 2022, and soon gained massive viewership. After its massive success, both from audiences and critics, the second season was renewed.

The first season covered Dwilight's hardships towards setting up a mob empire in an unknown city. He made enemies along the way, which threatened both his team and his family.
Tulsa King Season 2, will focus on The Genral's journey toward expanding his kingdom and becoming the true mafia boss. The official synopsis of the second season reads:
"With looming threats from the Kansas City mob and a very powerful local businessman, Dwight struggles to keep his family and crew safe while keeping track of all his affairs."

On August 2, 2024, Sylvester Stallone posted a video on Instagram congratulating the entire team as they wrapped up filming for the second season.
The filming took place in Oklahoma and Atlanta. It was August 15, 2024, when Paramount Plus posted the official trailer for the second season. In the trailer, Dwilight and his team are seen to be on their way to expand their empire and defend their territory in Tulsa.
However, the gang senses a potential threat looming around from competitors who are hungry to take the throne. Dwilight must keep his family safe while also growing his business empire, but he has some unfinished business to complete in New York.
The stakes are bigger this time, and The General isn't in the mood to take it easy. In the trailer, Dwilight says:
“Nothing resolves a conflict like a good smack in the chops.”
Tulsa King Season 2 will be released on September 15, 2024, across the US and Canada. On Monday, September 16, 2024, Paramount Plus will release the second season globally.
