Van der Valk Season 4: Release date, cast, plot, and everything you need to know

Van der Valk Season 4 is all geared up for release on ITV and Masterpiece PBS on Sunday, September 15 at 10 Eastern Time and 9 Central Time. According to Masterpiece PBS, the latest season will comprise three episodes much like its previous seasons. Each episode will be divided into two parts, which technically puts the episode count at 6.

It would be impossible to capture the show's essence in its fourth season without the presence of Marc Warren as Commissaris Piet Van der Valk. Therefore Warren appears in the latest season of the show alongside Maimie McCoy as Inspecteur Lucienne Hassell, whose character is equally important.

Details about the show's upcoming season's plot have also come to light ahead of its premiere this Sunday. PBS Masterpiece highlights that Piet Van der Valk will not only solve murder cases this season in the underbelly of Amsterdam but will also face his past as he crosses paths with an ex-lover.

As previously mentioned Van der Valk Season 4 will be released on ITV and Masterpiece PBS on Sunday, September 15, 2024. A total of three episodes of the show have been split up into two parts each and each part will be released every Sunday until October 20, 2024.

Those confirmed to be in the main cast of the upcoming season of Van der Valk include:
