Vikings: Valhalla Season 3 is set to a conclusion that was much awaited by fans around the world. Premiering on July 11, 2024, the season features eight episodes.

Vikings: Valhalla is a continuation of the plot introduced by Vikings, which first aired in 2013. Created by Jeb Stuart and Michael Hirst - Valhalla began its journey in 2021, bringing forward the dark and turbulent times of the 11th century. Many fans deeply resonated with the show and how it has explored the Norse heroes dealing with their relationships and moral dilemmas, leading to high anticipation for each new and now the last season's release.

Leo Suter reprises his role as Harald Sigurdsson, whose ambitions have grown only more potent with each passing season. Sam Corlett continues to embody Leif Eriksson, who is a character torn between exploration and loyalty. Frida Gustavsson returns as Freydís Eiríksdóttir, a warrior struggling to uphold her family's name amidst growing threats.

Joining the warriors are two exciting fresh additions. Florian Munteanu plays Maniakes, who is a Byzantine general with unshakable courage and a strategic mind serving only the Emir with unyielding loyalty. Veteran actor Goran Višnjić steps into the shoes of Erik the Red, linking to the story as Leif and Freydís' father.

The creators of Vikings: Valhalla Season 3

The co-creator and executive producer Jeb Stuart has spoken about how excited he is about steering the series to its grand finale.

He expressed that his vision for Vikings: Valhalla was clear from the outset, which was to showcase the evolution of these legendary characters from ambitious young warriors to the iconic figures known across the ages.

“I am so grateful to have had three seasons to tell the stories of Leif, Harald, and Freydís. I knew from the beginning that I wanted to show the evolution of how three of the most famous Vikings became the icons we know today, and we have done just that,” he stated. “I hope when the audience gets to see the new season, they’ll be excited by all the new heights that we’ve taken these heroes.”
