The first season of Tulsa King was exciting enough to build up a humongous fanbase across the world. Now, the second season is set to continue the narrative of Dwight Manfredi while also expanding the world around them with new, rich characters.
The trailer opens with a montage of Stallone's character but soon we are introduced to Bill Bevilaqua, who isn't very happy about Manfredi taking over the entire territory. It seems evident that Tresher will play a big part in the coming season.
The trailer also gives a glimpse at McDonough's Carl Treseher, who is also tipped to be an important character in the sophomore season.
The official synopsis for Tulsa King season 2 reads:
"Dwight and his crew continue to build up and defend their growing empire in Tulsa, but just as they get their bearings, they realize that they’re not the only ones who want to stake their claim.
"With looming threats from the Kansas City mob and a very powerful local businessman, Dwight struggles to keep his family and crew safe while keeping track of all his affairs. Plus, he still has unfinished business back in New York."
Additionally, country music star Jelly Roll will also have a role in this season. Perhaps as a tribute to that, the trailer also featured his unrelated song, Get By.
