So far, Star Wars: Skeleton Crew has been building up the mystery of At Attin as the big point of the show. Everything regarding the world-building has centered around the planet and the mystery of it is being slowly revealed as well. From it being protected from the outer galaxy by a barrier to no one knowing what the planet is, At Attin is surely an enigma of its own.

However, episode 5 of Star Wars: Skeleton Crew exactly answered what lies on At Attin and why pirates believe it to be a myth. The planet apparently consists of the Old Republic Mint, meaning whoever holds the mint can print their currency forever and never run out of wealth. But since its location is unknown, everyone believed the treasure and the planet to be a myth.

But with the show set to end soon, of course, more will be revealed about the planet in the final two episodes.

Captain Rennod was the one who discovered At Attin in Star Wars: Skeleton Crew

In episode 5 of Star Wars: Skeleton Crew, it was revealed that the ship that Jod and the kids were on belonged to the infamous pirate Captain Rennod. It was called the Onyx Cinder and SM-33 belonged to him as well. However, it is not explained to the viewers why his ship crash-landed on At Attin and what happened to him, but later on, it was revealed that he didn't want anyone going for his treasure.

He did so by making sure the coordinates to the planet wouldn't be found by anyone. However, Fern was able to get SM-33 to reveal how At Attin could be found. The robot told them to go to Skull Ridge Mountain, as that's where his treasure and the coordinates to At Attin lie. Following this, the group went to Lanupa, where Skull Ridge Mountain lay.

After much trouble, the group finally found Captain Rennod's lair, where his treasure was hidden. They also found a recording of Rennod, which pretty much confirmed that At Attin hid the Old Republic Mint. Having the mint would allow anyone to keep printing Old Republic credits, meaning they would never run out of wealth.

However, Jod became greedy and then turned on the kids as it looks like he wanted the credits all for himself. But, this also ties At Attin to the Old Republic in some way, and in future episodes, fans can certainly expect to learn more about the planet and why it is shrouded in so much mystery.

What can fans expect from Star Wars: Skeleton Crew's final two episodes?

Going into the final two episodes of Star Wars: Skeleton Crew, fans can expect to see the children make it back to At Attin in one piece. However, with the pirates being led by Jod on their way to the planet it certainly looks like At Attin is going to have a pirate invasion on their hands.

Aside from that, fans can also expect to learn more about At Attin and its secrets and exactly what the planet's great work is.
