Fast Friends is a four-part game show based on the legendary NBC sitcom Friends, which aired from September 22, 1994 to May 6, 2004. It is often considered among the most popular television shows globally and now fans of the show have a chance to earn the title of the ultimate “Friends” fan.

The game show will see die-hard fans of the sitcom competing in a series of games and trivia related to the show. It will be hosted by comedian Whitney Cummings.

Fast Friends is produced by Warner Bros. Unscripted Television in association with Warner Horizon and the executive producers include Dan Sacks, Bridgette Theriault Dan Norris, and Richard Burgio. It will be released on Max on December 19, 2024.

Fast Friends is a one-of-a-kind game show that was filmed at "The FRIENDS Experience: The One in New York" somewhere around the month of October this year. The show will be released in four parts, featuring a group of die-hard fans of Friends who will solve puzzles and answer trivia questions related to the legendary sitcom.

The press release for the show describes it in these words:

The game show has been created in honor of the 30th anniversary of the sitcom's release, which premiered on NBC on September 22, 1994. The comedian and podcaster Whitney Cummings, who herself is a fan of the show will be the host.

A trailer for the game show was released on December 10, 2024. It showcased contestants hanging out in the iconic Central Perk cafe and other Friends-inspired places and doing specific tasks like carrying the heavy sofa to Ross's apartment.

The teams participating in the show also have Friends-inspired names such as Team Bamboozlers, Team Lobster, Team Team Way, No Way.

Fast Friends will be available on Max

Fast Friends will be released on Max on December 19, 2024. To watch the show, fans would require a subscription to the streaming platform. In the United States, Max offers three types of subscription plans.
