What happened to Elizabeth Ferrell? Details explored
Elizabeth Ferrell's submerged body was discovered in Louisiana by a fisherman on April 23, 2016. According to WAFB 9News, the Iberville Parish Sheriff's Office received a call around 11 a.m. local time informing them about a woman's body found in the Whiskey Bay waterway.
Elizabeth Ferrell had been reported missing in the days previous to her body being discovered. The authorities used her fingerprints to positively identify her. The autopsy results showed that she had faced blunt force trauma to the head and the cause of death was determined to be strangulation. At the time of her death, Elizabeth was 28.
As the investigation into Elizabeth's death began, her five-year-old daughter gave away the most crucial part of the puzzle. Rowan reportedly told the police how Jonathan had taken the girls on an 8-hour-long drive.
As reported by the Huston news portal Chron, Rowan told law enforcement that sometime during the trip, her father stopped the car and got something from the back of the vehicle, but she didn't know what that was.
