What If...? season 3, the highly anticipated final season of the beloved series, is just around the corner. With the announcement of its premiere in November 2024, fans are excited as the release date approaches.
The first episode of What If...? season 3 will drop on Disney Plus on December 22, 2024, at 9 pm ET and 6 pm PT. Following that, new episodes will be available for streaming daily at the same time on the platform until the series wraps up on December 29, 2024.
Season 3 of What If...? will have 8 episodes, one less episode compared to 9 episodes in previous seasons. This is likely to be the last series from Phase Five of the MCU to release this year.

What is the show about?
For those who have been following What If...? from the start, it's clear that the show delves into concepts of alternate timelines within the multiverse (first teased in the first season of Loki on Disney Plus). It showcases how different events in MCU films could have unfolded if key moments had taken a different turn.
Season 3 of the show also will naturally rely heavily on that idea. The season does not have an official synopsis per se, but its episode names are quite self-explanatory. For instance, episode 2, titled What If… Agatha Went to Hollywood?, will presumably explore what would happen if Agatha Harkness traveled to Hollywood and had not embarked on the very different journey she embarked on in Agatha All Along.

Who is in the voice cast of What If...? season 3?
Similar to the previous seasons, What If...? season 3 will also be narrated by actor Jeffrey Wright, whose role in the anthology series is that of an observer of the multiverse. He is referred to as the Watcher and is a member of the alien Watcher race.
