What to expect for What If...? season 3 episode 6? Characters and context
The upcoming storyline will feature Shang-Chi as one of the lead characters. Shang-Chi is a proficient martial artist and the current possessor of the relic of the Ten Rings. He will be accompanied by Kate Bishop, the prolific archer and the new Hawkeye for the Young Avengers.
John Walker will also be seen as one of the significant characters in this storyline. He was introduced in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier and briefly took up the Captain America mantle. While his methods were unfavorable and were soon countered by Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes.
Some of the other characters making an appearance might include Xu Xialing and Sonny Burch. Xialing is the daughter of the mythical warlord Xu Wenwu and Shang-Chi's sister. In the canon storyline, she took up leadership of the Ten Rings.
