The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives follows Mormon influencers who gained fame on social media by giving a glimpse into their community. The series explores the scandal that emerged when the darker aspects of their lives were revealed.

Taylor Frankie Paul, a key figure in the show, first exposed the "soft-swinging" culture of their community. She admitted to having consensual extramarital affairs with her husband, Tate Paul, and later stepped out of this arrangement during her relationship with Dakota Mortensen.

"I want people to have a better understanding of who I am. I wanted to be vulnerable and show people that when you hit rock bottom, there is hope," Taylor said speaking to People Magazine.

Other cast members of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives include Demi Engemann, who's still active on TikTok with around 304,000 followers. She's now been divorced and is the mother of a blended family with three kids. She's spoken of her desire to open up about her motherhood experiences so she can empower other women.

Jen Affleck and Zac Affleck also feature in The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, with Zac being the cousin of Ben and Casey Affleck. Jen told People Magazine that filming for the Hulu reality series was like getting ten years' worth of marriage counseling.

Jessi Ngatikaura is 32 years old and considers herself the "grandma" of the group. She currently works as a hairstylist as the owner of a salon called JZ Styles. Like Demi Engemann, she also has a blended family with three kids.

Laya Taylor is the youngest cast member at 23 years old, and she's been divorced and is a single mother of two.

Mayci Neeley used to be a Division 1 tennis player from Bringham Young University, and has founded a natal nutrition company. She's the mother of two kids and is undergoing IVF treatment.

Mikayla Matthews is 24 years old and is married with three kids. Speaking about her experience on the show, she's said it provides a raw and real insight into living as a Mormon wife.

And finally, Whitney Leavitt is 31 years old and who's married with two kids and pregnant with a third. Speaking about her friendship with the cast, she said:

“When you see a lot of reality TV, they aren’t really friends before filming the show. We’ve built a business together and we get to show the world how we did that.”
