Netflix's No Good Deed will be a black comedy
The official synopsis of the series reads:
"The sale of Paul and Lydia's picture-perfect LA home forces them to face painful family secrets — and hide them from prying eyes and cutthroat buyers."
Across eight episodes, the comedy series will tell the story of three different families, all trying their best to purchase the same house. The house in question is a 1920s Spanish-style villa, and each buyer party tries everything possible to outmaneuver the other two to grab the property.
However, as the trailer makes it clear, not all is well with the house. There might be some sinister secrets associated with it that could jeopardize the dreams of its potential buyer. As each party tries to dig out the secret while keeping the other parties off the hunt, chaos and confusion ensue.
Amidst this chaos is the Morgan family, the current owners of the house, who have been rattled by the LA real estate hysteria. Lydia and Paul Morgan share conflicting opinions about selling their family house, which promises to only accentuate the drama of the whole plot.
