What role does Annalisa Cochrane play in Cobra Kai? Character explored

Yasmine, played by Annalisa Cochrane, was one of the "bad guys" in Cobra Kai's first season. She enjoyed a certain social standing at West Valley High School, which she used to her advantage. She was renowned for her harsh demeanor toward the other students and occasionally bullied them.

Throughout Season 1 of Cobra Kai, Annalisa Cochrane's character, Yasmine, saw significant character growth, resulting in her character being more of a protagonist rather than an antagonist in the latter seasons (Season 3 onwards). Surprisingly enough, she also develops a romantic relationship with Demetri Alexopoulos, a member of the Cobra Kai Dojo.

Yasmine in Cobra Kai played by Annalisa Cochrane is portrayed as some sort of a brat who goes to extreme lengths to bring others down, especially those who do not enjoy a social standing similar to hers.

Throughout Season 1 of the show, she is shown to be sometimes extremely passive and sometimes overtly hostile towards the members of the Cobra Kai dojo. However, a specific incident involving Aisha turns her for the better, as she realizes the impact her actions might have had on the people she had targeted over the years.

Following several incidents in which Yasmine acted aggressively toward the dojo, Aisha took matters into her own hands, giving her a wedgie in front of a large crowd. This made her a laughing stock in front of several people who she had previously bullied. She remained on the sidelines as the show proceeded, but by Season 3, she had changed for the better.

Yasmine's relationship with Demetri Alexopoulos explored

Yasmine's relationship with Demetri Alexopoulos begins similarly to her relationships with other members of the Cobra Kai dojo, starting off on a rough note. However, as time goes by, Yasmine and Demetri start to warm up to each other, especially after Yasmine's wedgie incident.

Kyler destroys Demetri's cast when he is severely injured. Unexpectedly, Yasmine, out of all the people, approaches Demetri and expresses her empathy towards him, as she has also been in a similar situation previously. The pair quickly become comfortable with each other and exchange a kiss, marking the beginning of their relationship.
