Recap of Creature Commandos episodes 1 and 2
Creature Commandos opens with Amanda Waller assembling a task force of monsters that includes G.I. Robot, Dr. Phosphorus, The Bride, Nina Mazursky, and the Weasel. Led by Rick Flag Sr., they travel to Pokolistan to protect Princess Ilana Rostovic and stop Circe from taking over the country. In Pokolistan, Ilana and Rick Flag Sr. start a romance as well as they take a liking to each other.
It is revealed that Circe is working with the Sons of Themyscira and wants to take over Pokolistan so that then she can conquer Themyscira as well. The show then focuses on the Bride as she escapes the Princess' castle and is followed by Nina. It is revealed that she wants to go to her birthplace so she can retrieve a necklace.
There, Eric Frankenstein is made aware of her location by a watch. In flashbacks, viewers get to see that the Bride was created by Victor Frankenstein as Eric wanted a lover. However, Victor and the Bride fell in love with each other and Eric killed his creator. He then chased the Bride for centuries expressing his love for her, but she always rejected him.
At the same time, Circe is made aware of the Bride and Nina's location and comes to take them in. While the Bride puts up a fight, she eventually ends up losing. The episode ends with the rest of the team driving to their location to save them.
