Making Manson is about cult leader Charles Manson
Charles Mansion has been one of the most infamous people of the latter half of last century. He created a deadly cult, whose members went on two nights of a killing spree in August 1969.
He admittedly influenced and ordered his followers to carry out horrific violence on innocent victims including actor Sharon Tate, who was pregnant at the time of her murder.
She was stabbed multiple times by three of Manson's followers.
The killers did not stop after Tate's murder and went on to kill grocery store business owners Leno and Rosemary LaBianca the next night. The motive behind these killings was to ignite race wars by pinning the murders on black Americans. Manson called this race war Helter Skelter.
The series, which includes over 100 hours of recorded conversation, will reveal new information about the cult leader, who has been the subject of more than 20 films, books, and documentaries.
The series also includes interviews with former cult members and the victims' family members.
