A recap of Star Wars: Skeleton Crew episode 3
Episode 3 of Star Wars: Skeleton Crew begins with parents learning that their kids won't be able to be saved since they are out of the barrier. The episode then focuses on Jod and the children as they rescue SM-33 and escape from the pirate Spaceport. Jod then takes them to a friend of his whom he thinks will be able to help the children get back home.
When Jod lands on the moon his friend is on, it's quickly revealed that she is spying on him through cameras. Since she doesn't trust him, she ends up calling the New Republic to arrest him. The friend is soon revealed to be Kh'ymm, an owl-like creature who stores maps to stars and more. Even though she doesn't know where At Attin is but has a theory about it.
She believes that At Attin was purposefully hidden to protect it but the reason why isn't revealed. She then uses the children to understand where their planet may be located, however, it soon turns out that she was stalling them so that Jod could be arrested. Jod soon picks up on this and throws Kh'ymm away leaving with a chip that he believes has the map to At Attin.
While leaving, Kh'ymm talks to KB and asks him not to trust Jod and to follow her instincts. The group then escapes the New Republic fighters and the episode ends there.
