Recap of Star Wars: Skeleton Crew episode 7
In episode 7, the parents send a message about the barrier to their kids but are detained by authorities. The kids finally make it outside the barrier on At Attin, but the pirates pull in their ship after Jod tells Brutus that the ship is required to get past the barrier. However, Jod then kills Brutus in cold blood and takes the children as prisoners while making himself the leader of the pirates.
The kids then receive their parents' message, which tells them to seek out a republic emissary to get past the barrier. Since the Onyx Cinder is an At Attin ship, they can already get past the barrier. Fern then uses the power of "claimsies" to get the ship back from Jod, and SM-33 acknowledges her as the captain once more. He kicks Jod and the pirates out and flies the ship through the barrier.
However, Jod somehow makes it onto the ship, beheads SM-33 with his lightsaber, and gets the upper hand on the kids. He then lands the ship on At Attin and pretends to be a republic emissary. He is then taken to the planet's vaults, where he discovers its treasure, and the kids are reunited with their parents. However, the episode ends with Jod walking up to them with his lightsaber.
