The first three episodes of What We Do in the Shadows season 6 were released on FX on October 21, 2024. The fourth episode, titled The Railroad, was released on October 28, 2024.
It began with Jerry and the Guide trying to teach the Staten Island vampires how to conquer new lands and bring them under their control. However, the vampires were least bothered by Jerry’s ambitious plan. Instead, they seem to be enjoying their quotidian indulgences well enough.
Episode 4 of What We Do in the Shadows season 6 focuses, among other things, on Guillermo’s rising prominence at work. At the same time, Nandor has managed to irritate the boss at the same workplace. As a result, at the end of the episode, Guillermo has to fire his friend Nandor at the boss’ command. This decision naturally hurts Nandor.
What We Do in the Shadows season 6 episode 4 ending: Guillermo has fired Nandor
As the episode begins, Jordan, Guillermo’s boss at Cannon Capital Strategies, announces that they have just acquired a new company. Guillermo himself has become an integral part of the company, rising the corporate ladder through the help of Nadja and Nandor.
Jordan makes it clear that he is quite impressed by Guillermo. However, there is one person he is not impressed by, and that is Nandor, who is working at the office as the janitor. Nandor’s shortcoming is that he is a bit too chatty, and whenever he bumps into Jordan, he strikes up a conversation, wasting the latter’s time.
As a result, Jordan asks Guillermo to fire Nandor, who is going by the name of Andy. Naturally, Guillermo is reluctant. He cannot fire Nandor right away. Rather, he asks him to “blend in more with the background.”
Nandor, aka Andy, takes this all too literally. Whenever he comes across people from now onwards, he faces the wall in an attempt to blend in with the background. This bit of physical comedy is one of the highlights of episode 4 of What We Do in the Shadows season 6.

Things get serious very soon
Nandor’s genuine attempts at self-correction notwithstanding, Jordan has no patience with him. As and when he comes across Nandor, he keeps telling Guillermo to fire him.
Guillermo has become the boss’ sweetheart, largely thanks to the interaction of Nadja and Nandor. However, upon tasting corporate success, he does not want to give it up. Thus, though initially hesitant, he at last tells Nandor that the latter has been fired.
Nandor dispassionately takes the news, telling the camera crew that he will do whatever is best for Guillermo. However, it soon becomes clear that not all is well with Nandor. He says:
“Guillermo, he’s like a baby bird, like a little falcon looking for his first bit of prey. He has to prove himself. So, no, I am in no way, shape or form humiliated by the fact that I have just been fired by my own… by my former…”
He then breaks down.

Who is Sean and what does he want?
Towards the beginning of episode 4 of What We Do in the Shadows season 4, Laszlo and Colin are once again trying to infuse life into dead bodies. Sean, their neighbor, interrupted their Frankenstein-esque maneuver.
It turns out that Sean has been laid off recently and is looking for a job. Previously, in order to evade his suspicion, Laszlo had lied to Sean that all of them used to work at the railways. Now, Sean wants a job at the railways too. The only problem is that the office Laszlo has talked about to him does not exist.
Whatever else he may be, Laszlo is a committed friend. He builds a makeshift office, hires a bunch of actors to pose as employees, and stages an interview for Sean. Who is the interviewer? It is the latest creature that Laszlo and Colin brought back to life.
Sean impresses the monster, who ends up hiring Sean as the Vice President of the company, despite being given a command against it. Thus, to save his friendship, Laszlo has given Sean an imaginary job at a non-existent office.

What is Nadja up to?
In What We Do in the Shadows season 6, Nadja, along with Nandor and Guillermo, has also started working at Connan Capital Strategies. She says she finds the job interesting since it lets her learn about the nuances of the capitalist market.
Nadja, however, is not just a mindless employee; she has plans of her own. After she finds out that her husband has given Sean a job that does not exist, she arranges for Cannon to buy the office Laszlo and Colin had set up for the interview.
Cannon purchases the office floor thanks to Nadja's shrewdness. This way, what was only a thing of playacting ends up becoming a profitable venture for the vampires.
The next episode of What We Do in the Shadows season 6 will be released on November 4, 2024.
