What happens in What We Do in the Shadows season 6 episode 4?
The episode opens with Jerry, aided by the Guide, trying to lecture the vampires about his ambitious plan to conquer new lands and bring them under the vampires’ control. However, the group is hardly interested in such a lofty mission; they seem to be taking enough delight in their respective daily indulgences.
Nandor and Nadja have settled down in Cannon Capital Strategies. What We Do in the Shadows season 6 has given Nadja ample scope to explore the public world, and she is enjoying it too. Nandor, however, might just have overperformed his role a bit.
Nandor, going by the name of Andy, has managed to irritate the boss, Jordan. In fact, the latter is so displeased with Andy that he wants him fired at once. Andy’s fault is that he is too amicable, and whenever he bumps into Jordan, he strikes up a conversation and wastes a good amount of his time. Also, Jordan hardly appreciates being regarded casually by a janitor.
Thus, he asks Guillermo to fire him. After quite a bit of deliberation, he manages to tell Nandor that he has been laid off. Initially, the latter acts as if this has not affected him much. However, he soon breaks down.
Elsewhere, Sean has approached Laszlo and Colin for a job at the railway office, where the two seemingly work. The problem is that Laszlo had once lied to Sean about the job in order to evade his suspicions regarding the vampires’ nocturnal outings. Now, Laszlo and Colin find themselves in the awkward position of having to help their neighbor land an imaginary job by visiting a non-existent office.
Laszlo, however, is a good friend. He hires a bunch of actors, rents a floor, and sets up an office where Sean is interviewed by none other than the monster whom Laszlo and Colin have just brought to life. Accidentally, the monster turns out to be an intellectual, and after lecturing Sean about railways’ role in connecting human lives, he ends up hiring him.
Here comes another problem: the monster was categorically told not to hire Sean because there was no job in the first place. However, thanks to Nadja’s intervention in the end, things take a better shape.
