After not being on the platform for several years, Gossip Girl is making a grand entry into Netflix again, in the US. Despite the absence of a release date, industry experts have theorized that the show will come on Netflix in August or at least a month after that.
The deductions were made based on the trends that have been recently observed. As per the latest developments, Netflix has made Gossip Girl available in several regions worldwide, where, much like the US, the show was not available for many years. These include locations like India and Japan where the show is now streamable.
When is Gossip Girl coming to Netflix?
After Gossip Girl was removed from Netflix on January 1, 2021, fans requested service providers to bring back the hit series on the platform. However, despite their calls for demand, Netflix didn't bring back the series for more than three years.
With the recent developments, it appears that the return of the show on Netflix in the US is inevitable. The show has been put in the Worth the Wait section, meaning it could take weeks to a month for its streaming to start.
Many who were under the impression that the show would be included in the list of releases on Netflix for July were disappointed after Netflix released their July schedule via Tudum. The fans are assured that the show is scheduled for an October 2024 release.
