What was the main plot of Prison Break season 5? Storyline explored
Season 5 of the show takes place after a seven-year time jump after Michael's supposed death. Michael is revealed to be alive in a prison in Yemen and using the pseudonym Kaniel Outis to try and escape the war-ridden country.
The season reintroduces Michael's brother Lincoln and his friend Benjamin Franklin, a recall to the escape from Fox River prison. The two risk their lives to bring Michael home from Yemen. He returns to find his wife Sara now remarried in the United States.
However, the story goes into another twist with Sara: she's being followed by enemy agents. They are revealed to be operatives of an agency called Poseidon, which was responsible for Michael's disappearance and presumed death, something the fifth season revolves around.
Though no longer on air, Prison Break is available to watch online via platforms like Disney+, Netflix and Amazon Prime Video.
