Atlanta is the primary filming location for the show, as the story is set in this city. Atlanta is home to the 330-acre Tyler Perry studios, located at 315 Deshler Street Southwest, where most of the shooting took place. Some of the scenes were shot on location in the city. Tyler Perry Studios is a state-of-the-art facility with 12 soundstages, from 10,000 to 38,500 square feet in size.
The studio has built-in standing sets of offices, courtrooms, airplane interiors, big houses, etc. The Atlanta Marriott Marquis Hotel, located at 265 Peachtree Center Avenue Northeast, has been featured in the trailer for the show.
Viewers can spot it in the scene where Kimmie is moving through a crowd of people, while Mallory's large posters are hanging in the back.
2) Chicago, Illinois
