Dateline is all set to take a look at the fraudster and accused r*pist Nicholas Rossi, whose legal name is Nicholas Alahverdian, in an episode set to air at 9 pm EST. Apart from these two names, he has used multiple aliases over the years, including Arthur Knight, and committed a hoard of crimes, following which he faked his own death.

Among his many crimes, there were also multiple allegations from his ex-wives. He reportedly married three times, with his third and current wife, Miranda Knight, still allegedly supporting him after he was arrested and extradited.

Nicholas Rossi is the subject of Dateline season 33 episode 10, titled The Man of Many Faces, which aptly describes his saga of criminal activities.

Among his three wives, his first and second ex-wives have reportedly moved on after the abusive relationship they shared with him. Miranda Knight reportedly refused to believe that her husband was capable of anything bad and allegedly believed he was indeed prosecuted due to mistaken identity.

Her reaction to Nicholas Rossi admitting that it wasn't a mistaken identity is not yet known, but she was a vocal supporter of her husband well into 2024.

Nicholas Rossi awaits trial as of now.

Who are the three wives of Nicholas Rossi?

Rossi had an interesting past, where he alleged that he faced a tremendous amount of physical, mental, and s*xual harassment in foster care and ultimately unsuccessfully sued the Department of Children Youth and Families (DCYF), Rhode Island's social service system.

His first marriage took place on November 5, 2010. He married a local Pawtucket, Rhode Island native, who has chosen to remain anonymous. However, six months after this marriage, Rossi's wife reportedly filed for divorce stating that Rossi had a toxic and controlling nature. She even reportedly requested a restraining order against him. She also complained that he continued harassing her after the order.

He married again in October 2015, this time to Kathryn Heckendorn, whom he reportedly met through a singles ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She had problems with him from the very beginning of their marriage. Within seven months, she also filed for divorce. He was put on a temporary restraining order when they split, which he violated again and generated another criminal case against himself.

His third marriage came in 2020, shortly before he faked his death. This time, married Miranda Louisa Knight, a native of Bristol, England. Soon after, a confusing period followed, when a woman, claiming to be his widow, Louise, publicly mourned his passing. His widow claimed that he was cremated and refused to provide copies of Rossi's death certificate to The Providence Journal.

Many believe that Miranda Knight was the one pretending to be the widow, but nothing has been confirmed about the same yet.

Where are Nicholas Rossi's ex-wives now?

Rossi's first wife dissociated from him years back and with her identity unknown, nothing much is known about her.

As for Kathryn Heckendorn, she has worked hard to rebuild her life, and reports state that she is happily married now. She also reportedly has a child and still resides in Ohio.

As for Miranda Knight, she is still with Nicholas Rossi and she has been a vocal advocate for him since his arrest. She also claimed that her husband was just a target of a "mistaken identity." It is not known how she reacted when Nicholas Rossi admitted to making up the alias of Arthur Knight, but she is still with him at the moment. As per reports, she is a Scotland resident.

Nicholas Rossi's trial is set to commence on April 22, 2025. More details about this case will be discussed in the upcoming episode of Dateline on NBC. Stay tuned for more updates.
