The upcoming episode of Dateline is all set to cover the brutal murder of Robert Limon, who became the victim of his wife, Sabrina Limon's love affair. Sabrina, who shared two kids with Rob and seemingly had a perfect life from the outside, ended up murdering her husband with the help of John Hearn, her young lover. The case remains one of the most shocking ones in the history of Silver Lake, California.

The case is set to be the subject of Dateline season 33 episode 11, which will air on Friday, January 10, 2025, at 9 PM EST. The synopsis for this episode, titled Deadly Mirage, reads:

Jonathan Hearn was the first to be identified by the police as he was caught in the surveillance footage. Despite taking him in, the police did not have enough evidence to charge Sabrina Limon, who walked away after her initial arrest.

Days before Hearn went to trial, he decided to cooperate with the police and give away Sabrina. Due to his testimony, authorities could finally arrest Sabrina and charge her. She was sentenced to prison for 25 years to life. She currently serving her sentence at the Central California Women’s Facility in Chowchilla, California.

Who is Sabrina Limon and what did she do?

Sabrina Limon met and married Rob Limon on August 19, 2000. The two were drawn to each other because of their charm and seemingly made a great pair. They soon moved to Silver Lake, California, and had two children, who they raised in an allegedly perfect household.

But below this facade of a perfect family and fun couple, there was something dark going on. Sabrina and Rob's marriage was far from an ordinary one as they opted to have relationships outside their matrimonial bonds. As per reports, Sabrina was not fully on board with the idea of an open marriage but agreed because of Rob's insistence.

Sabrina met Jonathan Hearna, a 22-year-old religious firefighter, with whom she kicked it off immediately. The two allegedly fell in love but Sabrina decided to keep it a secret as it would harm her social standing.

With their love affair blooming, Sabrina and Jonathan Hearn planned to murder Rob Limon and get him out of the way for good. Before Rob Limon was shot to death while working at the BNSF railyard in Tehachapi, Sabrina allegedly tried to poison him and later thought of burning him alive in his car. On August 17, 2014, her plan came to fruition as Jonathan Hearn managed to get to Rob's workplace and shoot him to death.

Sabrina Limon also had financial motives behind this as she stood to gain at least $300,000 in life insurance.

Where is Sabrina Limon now?

Initially, authorities could only keep Jonathan Hearn in custody after uncovering the murder plot as there wasn't enough evidence against Sabrina, but things changed just two days before Jonathan Hearn's trial. Jonathan Hearn decided to cooperate with the police and give away Sabrina Limon.

He did not deny that he pulled the trigger but he revealed how Sabrina masterminded it all and had been plotting to kill her husband for quite some time. Nine months later in her trial, the jury found her guilty of first-degree murder. Sabrina was sentenced to 25 years to life in prison.

She is currently incarcerated at the Central California Women’s Facility in Chowchilla, California, and will be eligible for parole in 2033.
