The upcoming episode of Homicide Hunter: American Detective is all set to dive into the brutal murder of Leon Harrison at the hands of Tiesh Annette Rhue, his wife, and Alexander Rhue Jr., his wife's brother. The case also saw some involvement from Tiesh and Alexander's father, Alexander Rhue Sr.

This case will be the subject of the next episode of Homicide Hunter: American Detective, which is set to premiere on June 26, 2024, on ID at 9.00 PM EST.

The synopsis for the episode reads:

"The body of a South Carolina man was discovered floating in the Black River. Allen Morris, an investigator working his first homicide case, must investigate the victim's wife and mistress and eventually unravel the web of deception surrounding his disappearance."

After Leon Harrison Jr.'s body was found floating in the Black River, authorities narrowed the case down to a bad case of marital discord, which ultimately led to the Rhues murdering the 32-year-old and trying to dispose of him.

However, the trio of criminals was caught and charged with the murder, with Tiesh and her brother receiving sentences for murder and their father receiving a sentence for obstruction of justice. The siblings remain behind bars as of now.

What did Tiesh Annette Rhue and Alexander Rhue Jr. do and where are they now?

Tiesh Annette Rhue was the wife of Leon Harrison Jr. When the 32-year-old seemingly disappeared, his father and the mother of his children came to lodge a complaint on March 9, 2017. Authorities soon determined that Leon was missing since February 25, 2017.

Just two days after this complaint, authorities reportedly got a call about a dead body floating in the Black River. The body was partially decomposed and in a very bad state. The only way the authorities could identify it was through a tattoo that revealed it to be Leon Harrison Jr.

The body was tightly wound in speaker wire and was decomposed beyond recognition. Due to this, the authorities also failed to identify how the murder took place, but the investigation revealed that there was tension in Harrison's marriage and he had a bad fight with Tiesh Annette Rhue on the night of his disappearance. The police also discovered that a section of Tiesh and Leon's bedroom carpet was cut and disposed of.

On examination, it was revealed that there were traces of Leon's blood on the carpet, confirming their suspicion. Moreover, Alexander Rhue, Jr. and Alexander Rhue, Sr. were also caught in a surveillance camera in Walmart trying to purchase Hydrogen peroxide, which is commonly used to remove blood stains.

Google geo-fencing also revealed that Tiesh Annette Rhue and her father and brother had turned off their cellphones on the night of Leon Harrison Jr.'s disappearance.

They were caught as they gave false information to the police and attempted to conceal evidence, landing them in prison. The police soon charged them with the murder of Leon Harrison Jr.

Tiesh Annette Rhue and Alexander Rhue Jr. were convicted of Leon Harrison Jr.'s murder and sentenced to 37 years in prison. They were also given eight years on the obstruction of justice charge.

As for Alexander Rhue Sr., he was exempt from the murder charge and charged with only obstruction of justice. He was sentenced to eight years in prison, suspended from the time he already served.
