Superman & Lois season 4 episode 5 recap

In episode 5, fans see Lois Lane seek out Elizabeth Luthor's help so that she can talk her father into not coming after her family anymore. Elizabeth, reluctant at first, agrees to do so, and Lex is reunited with his daughter for the first time in 17 years. Until then, Lois and Clark start looking for a backup in case this plan does work, and Lois finds the caller through which Doomsday is called.

Lex Luthor and his daughter then continue to have conversations with each other. However, the meeting went less than expected, and Elizabeth left. Clark then convinces her to go back and talk to him, and Elizabeth eventually warms up to Lex and has a heartfelt conversation with him.

She then gives him an ultimatum, saying that if he wants her to be in his life, then he has to stop going after Lois Lane. But Lex can't let go of his hate, and Elizabeth says goodbye to him forever and leaves. Elsewhere, Lois then calls upon Doomsday and asks him to stop hurting his family as she knows he had one before being transformed into a monster, and it was taken away from him.

Doomsday then flies off into thin air after empathizing with Lois. On the other hand, Lex also learns that Doomsday has disappeared, and the episode ends with Clark and Lois watching fireworks as the worst is now behind them.
