The Acolyte season 1 is coming to a close with its eighth and final episode this month. Helmed by Leslye Headland, the science fiction television series, a part of the Star Wars franchise, will air its last episode on Disney Plus on July 16, 2024, at 9 p.m. ET.

The plot explores a Jedi Master's (Lee Jung-jae's Sol) investigation of a series of crimes that forced him to go against a dangerous former Padawan learner (Amandla Stenberg's Verosha and Mae-ho Aniseya), leading to a string of other cataclysmic reactions, beyond his control.

A brief recap of The Acolyte season 1 episode 7
The Acolyte season 1 episode 7 titled Choice, presented the audience with the Jedi point of view of the things, which transpired in episode three of the show. In the third episode, Destiny, the show took viewers 16 years ago when the twins, Osha and Mae, were separated from one another.
The incident was highlighted in the recent episode, but the narrative was a bit different. While episode three allowed viewers to sympathise with Osha and Mae, episode 7 allowed them to sympathise with Sol who acted on the circumstances.
Episode 7 of The Acolyte sees Sol and Indara infiltrating the coven with their troupes to extract Osha and Mae who are believed to be worthy of becoming Sol's Padawan. But, when they are faced with violence, they don't hold themselves back.
That gives rise to a back-and-forth between the two opposing forces, which eventually results in Sol having to choose who he wants to save from the mess. While leaving for Coruscant, Sol decides to take Osha with him, leaving Mae behind.
Rumours have been rife about a possible season 2 of The Acolyte despite the absence of any solid evidence. If everything works right, the show's fans can look forward towards an official confirmation soon.
