The Penguin episode 5, titled Homecoming, premiered on HBO and Max on October 20, 2024, and focused on the aftermath of the events that took place in episodes 3 and 4. The episode focused on Oswald recouping after the Maronis had blown his cover in front of Sofia Falcone and revealed that he had killed her brother Alberto as well.
Following those events, The Penguin episode 5 sees Sofia Falcone take over the Falcone family and also her mother's maiden name Gigante while ending the war with Maronis and proposing an alliance with Sal. Both swear revenge on Oswald, as he has done them dirty in the past.
However, Cobb is busy with getting his Bliss business off the ground and decides to run it from the abandoned railroad tunnels in Gotham, which are also a suitable environment to grow the mushrooms in.

The Penguin episode 6 streaming options explored
With The Penguin being an HBO show, it's available to stream on Max in the United States of America and other locations it's available in. A new episode of the series drops every Sunday at 9 pm Eastern Standard Time, and fans can expect the same for episode 6 when it premieres on October 27, 2024.
For fans outside the United States of America where Max isn't available, they will have to look for other streaming options. In India, The Penguin is available to stream on Jio CINEMA as well, while in the United Kingdom, the show is available to stream on Sky Atlantic and NOW.

A recap of The Penguin episode 5
The Penguin episode 5 sees Oswald Cobb and Victor Aguilar assemble their own goons and go after the Maronis following Sofia's killing of the Falcones.
Due to the Maronis having the rest of the bliss, Oswald kidnaps Sal's son and will only give him up in exchange for the drugs. However, when Sal complies, Oswald kills his family and puts out a hit on him too, but Sal survives and escapes prison.
Meanwhile, Sofia takes over the Falcone family and proposes a partnership with the Maronis. When she gets to know that Oswald killed Sal's family, she seeks him out and tells him about the idea with both swearing revenge on Oswald for ruining their lives.
Elsewhere, Oswald is disappointed to learn that Sal survived the hit on him and that only two containers of the Bliss survived. However, he realizes that Gotham has underground railroad tunnels, and the episode ends with him setting up his new Bliss operation there.
What can fans expect from The Penguin episode 6?
In episode 6, fans can expect to see Oswald in charge of the Bliss operation. The teaser for the upcoming outing sees Oswald making a partnership with the other crime families to help distribute Bliss and take back Gotham as well so he can be the city's Kingpin while also wanting to provide for his neighborhood.
However, with Sofia and Sal partnering up, Oswald will have to look out for himself, as both want to get their revenge on him. So, fans can expect to see the duo go after Oswald which should escalate a gang war on the streets of Gotham.
