A brief recap of White Lies Season 1 Episode 3
White Lies Season 1 Episode 3 kicked off with Daniel's kidnapping from Episode 2 and Jamie calling Edie about not finding Daniel anywhere. The episode saw Edie looking for her nephew, trying to find clues in his personal things, and going to his school to talk to his classmates, but to no avail.
Two people also died in Episode 3, one of which was a spectator who saw Daniel getting tortured in the water by the gang members who kidnapped him. The other dead body, which Edie had to identify and had given her a scare, thinking that it was Daniel, was the homeless man Banjo.
Episode 3 also saw Forty Bell getting Edie detained for keeping the fact that Daniel, the person he thinks killed Andrew McKenzie, was missing. Looking for Daniel, Forty found him in the gang member/leader Magiet's house. He tried to save Daniel, putting his own life in danger. Edie arrived, and chaos followed, which saw him and Edie fight against Magiet and his mother. Peri Zondo saved them all by shooting Magiet to death.
Daniel also confessed to Edie about his dr*g addiction in Episode 3, but Edie later discovered that Daniel might be deeper into the trade than she initially realized.
