Adria Munnerlyn was an employee of DreamWorks Animation for over 25 years. She started out as a digital ink and paint artist before becoming the Credits and Titles Administrator in 2004.

Her tenure at the clearance department began in 2010, when she was the clearance administrator. She continued climbing the ranks in that department until she became the department's director in June 2021.

Munnerlyn's friend, Mark Kinsey Stephenson, had originally broken the news of her passing on Facebook in August 2024 with a written eulogy. "Adria is an amazing mentor and she is always available to answer questions and provide guidance. We are lucky to have her."

Fans on social media also had their curiosity piqued by the tribute to Adria, with one of them posting on Reddit and asking about her importance. One fan responded that the role related to matters of legal compliance, with them stating:

"Director of Clearance is an unsung, important job in regards to legal compliance in the film profession. I'm very glad that DreamWorks gave her a memorial before the ending credits. There are many hard working people that rarely get any recognition in making films and tv shows."
