The The Accident star was born on May 1, 1980, in Cancún, Mexico. Though not much information is available on the internet regarding her parents, IMDb reports that her first acting performance was in her hometown, Cancún.

Following the early start, Talancón studied acting in Cancún with the Cuban professor Albio Paz. She then shifted to Mexico City and pursued the same at the Acting Workshop of Héctor Mendoza and Raúl Quintanilla.

Meanwhile, she began appearing in several soap operas, like Al norte del Corazón, Señora, among others. In 1999, her performance in Romántica Obsesión brought her the Sol de Oro award for Best New Actress.
