The beginning of Yellowstone season 5 episode 13 saw Beth and Rip preparing to auction off essential items from the Dutton Ranch, including horses and equipment. The pair were eventually able to pull off the event by the conclusion of the episode.

Enhancing the atmosphere of the event was the band that played, introduced as an Oklahoma-based group known as the Turnpike Troubadours.
Who are the Turnpike Troubadours, the band that appeared in Yellowstone season 5 episode 13?
Yellowstone season 5 episode 13 introduced a new Oklahoma-based band, Turnpike Troubadours to the show's audiences. However, as it turns out, although new to the show, the group is not new to the music industry.
Turnpike Troubadours was founded in 2005 and has its origins in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, U.S. They are an American country music band that deals in genres such as Red dirt, Americana, honky-tonk, neotraditional country, country rock, and roots rock. Its members as of writing this article are Kyle Nix, RC Edwards, Ryan Engleman, Gabriel Pearson, Evan Felker, and Hank Early.
They have six albums to their name as of now, released under Bossier City Records which they found in 2007. In 2015, the band reached new heights of popularity when their heir self-titled album peaked at number seventeen on the Billboard 200.
In 2017, the band achieved another feat when their album A Long Way from Your Heart peaked at number three on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart. However, from 2018 onwards, things started going downhill for the band, as Evan Felker, the lead singer of Turnpike Troubadours started struggling with addiction.
After several years, in April 2022 the band was able to make a comeback after holding their first shows at Cain's Ballroom. Later, they also performed at the Red Rocks Amphitheatre.
Following these performances, the band released three singles titled Mean Old Sun, Brought Me, and Chipping Mill. These were followed by the release of their first album in years on August 25, 2023, titled A Cat in the Rain.
