How the character of Mark Simon influences the storyline of The Madness
After watching all the episodes of The Madness, viewers realize that Muncie is just a normal person who was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Mark Simon was a racialist who was infamous for spreading his ideology to his followers over the internet by the name of Brother 14. He was the person behind leading a white extremist group known as The Forge.
Mark was getting paid by corrupt bureaucrats from Revitalize to influence his followers to show support for their personal candidates for the elections, to get votes, and to spread their agenda.
However, a month before his death, Mark decides to go against the organization. Mark is killed by Don Sloss Jr. and Ant, who were paid by Revitalize to eliminate any opposition that could potentially harm their reputation.
After Muncie accidentally discovers Marks's dead body, the assassinations attempt to kill him to clear the leaving evidence. Lucie is Mark Simon's ex-wife, who is primarily responsible for introducing Muncie to the entire conspiracy, and Rodney Kraintz is the person behind all the crimes. Muncie successfully kills both of the assassins, Ant and Don Sloss Jr.
Finally, Lucie informs Bobby Woods, a member of The Forge, about Rodney Kraintz. This becomes the primary reason Bobby escapes the FBI and ends up killing the central antagonist of the story. Kraintz's death provides redemption not just to Muncie but also to Lucie herself.
