Who is the narrator in Bad Monkey? Everything to know about the mystery person behind the voice

Bad Monkey is a dark comedy series released on Apple TV on August 14, 2024. A collaboration of Warner Bros. Television and Doozer Productions, the series is an adaptation of Carl Hiaasen's 2013 novel of the same name. Bill Lawrence, who is known for his medical sitcom Scrubs, has developed Bad Monkey.

The show follows Andrew Yancy, an ex-detective who has been demoted to Health Inspector, for pushing his ex-girlfriend's lover from his golf cart, into the sea. Yancy's life takes an unexpected turn when a severed human hand is found in the Florida Keys, in Southern Florida.

The story of Bad Monkey takes place in the Florida Keys, the southern coast of Florida, a popular tourist destination. All the businesses there seem to have a looming threat of loss when a severed human arm is found by a fisherman tourist on the coast.

Sonny Summers, the Monroe County Sheriff knows the grave effect that it may have on the tourists, and hence wants to go to the root of it. Andrew Yancy is a former detective, who has been demoted to Health inspector for pushing his ex-girlfriend's partner on his golf cart to the sea.

Yancy is appointed to solve the mystery and find not just the murderer but also to whom the hand belongs. This could be Yancy's only ticket to return to his old job and restore his position.

When the tourist who had found the severed arm while fishing, is shot to death, Yancy soon realizes that the finding of the arm was not just a mere coincidence, but rather a completely devised plan.
