Marin Ireland is an American actress who was born on August 30, 1979, in Camarillo, California. She studied at the Idyllwild Arts Foundation situated in Idyllwild-Pine Cove in California.
The actress graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from The Hartt School, the performing arts conservatory at the University of Hartford in West Hartford, Connecticut. Marin started her acting career in theater and her performances have been appreciated worldwide.

What happened to Sissy Cooper in The Umbrella Academy?
Sissy Cooper was initially a friend of Vanya Hargreeves, later known as Viktor played by Elliot Page. At the beginning of the show, Sissy was married to Carl Cooper and they had a son named Harlan. One day, Sissy met with an accident and hit Viktor with her car, leading to him getting amnesia.
Viktor at that time lived with the Coopers and while taking care of him, Sissy fell in love with Viktor. In The Umbrella Academy season 2, she appeared in a main role in the series followed by The Umbrella Academy season 3, where it was shown that Sissy had died due to cancer on October 1, 1989.
Sissy died on the same day as the Hargreeves siblings were born. Harlan, who was grieving his mother’s death, caused a psychic shockwave that killed the mothers of all superhuman siblings, resulting in the creation of the Sparrow Academy timeline.
