Omnivore, an Apple TV + original, released its first eight episodes on July 19, 2024. The trailer for this culinary docuseries was released on July 10, 2024, exciting food lovers about their upcoming experience of 'people, places and ingredients,' to be narrated by Renè Redzepi.

Danish chef Rene Redzepi stars in the show alongside Spanish chef Àngel León. Rene Redzepi, the Danish chef, is a popular name in the culinary world. Redzepi was a part of the Nordic Cuisine movement, one of the most important food revolutions in the Nordic region. He is also well known for his ties with restaurant Noma.

René Redzepi, the 46-year-old culinary maestro and well-known Spanish chef hailing from Copenhagen, Denmark, began his culinary career at the age of 15. He is now a co-owner of Claus Meyer's Noma, a well-known three-star restaurant in Denmark. He created the New Nordic cuisine in collaboration with Claus Meyer and other notable Nordic chefs.
In 2021, Noma debuted at the top of the leaderboard and was named the first in the World's 50 Best Restaurants Awards List.
In terms of New Nordic Cuisine, Noma is renowned for its expertise and inventiveness. However, there is bad news as Noma is set to close at the end of 2024 and transform into a food laboratory as decided by Redzepi himself to develop new dishes and products.
Redzepi has also penned several books on Noma’s cuisines, techniques, and brewing secrets, including ~ Noma (2011) and The Noma Guide to Fermentation (Foundation of Flavor) - (2018), and more.
He has also been featured in several TV shows to date including Ugly Decisions (2018-20), The Mind of A Chef (2012-2017), and Omnivore (2024-present) among others.

Omnivore, which premiered on Apple TV + on July 19, 2024, is narrated by chef René Redzepi. Season 1 of the show has eight episodes.
