Dr. Sameer Shah is introduced as one of the top researchers at Vought's secret Research and Development division. The character is portrayed by Omid Abtahi. Omid Abtahi is an Iranian-American actor who has been in several popular films, such as The Mandalorian's Dr. Penn Pershing and The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2's Homes. The character of Dr. Sameer Shah was created specially for the Amazon series and does not appear in any comic edition of The Boys.
