Dune: Prophecy is a science fiction television series based in the Dune universe. It looks into the origins of the Bene Gesserit, a powerful group with unique talents. The show is set 10,000 years before the Dune movie. It is based on Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson's novels, The Great Schools of Dune.

Sister Theodosia, sometimes known as Theo, is among Dune: Prophecy's most remarkable characters. She is portrayed by Jade Anouka. She is first shown as one of the best students in the Bene Gesserit sisterhood, but in Episode 4, it is revealed that she has a strange and amazing talent: the power to change her shape.

According to Dune history, this admission raises the possibility that she is a Face Dancer, rather than a normal member of the Bene Gesserit. It is a metamorphic transhuman made by the Bene Tleilax.

Early in Dune: Prophecy, Theo is first presented as a brilliant, conscientious acolyte inside the Sisterhood. Aiming to become among the top Truthsayers in the order, she is quite dedicated to her training. Her path is far from simple, though, as Theo tries to balance her aspirations with the risky secrets she carries.

Theo's talent is highlighted as the show goes on, but also are the darker sides of her character. Only hinted at in early episodes, her secret puts her in a morally dubious position.

Theo's own needs and her secret realities complicate this allegiance even as the Sisterhood shapes its acolytes to be submissive and dedicated to the greater purpose. Particularly with other Sisterhood members like Valya Harkonnen (Emily Watson) and Reverend Mother Kasha (Jihae), this inner struggle causes friction in her interactions. Theo finds herself divided between her ambition and the aims of the Sisterhood, which could finally cause her to choose a perilous road.

Theo presents difficulties, yet her intelligence and inventiveness are indisputable. Her ultimate ascent to prominence is set up by her fast winning the confidence of influential Sisterhood members. Still, Theo's incredibly unique abilities also make her a target. Her secret might be the means to change the power relations inside the Sisterhood and throughout the Empire, therefore influencing the fate of the planet itself.
