The first trailer for Daredevil: Born Again hit online yesterday on January 15, 2025. The show, which will be a revival of the popular Daredevil Netflix series, will see Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) back in the fold again as he battles some new enemies while also facing off familiar faces from the past. Not only that, but the trailer also gave fans a glimpse at the villains that will be seen in the upcoming series.
The trailer for Daredevil: Born Again immediately opens with Matt Murdock having a chat with Wilson Fisk / Kingpin (Vincent D'Onofrio). So, it certainly looks like he is set to be the big bad of the season again. Alongside that, the trailer also gave a glimpse at a returning Benjamin Poindexter (Wilson Bethel) who will probably be becoming Bullseye in this season.
However, that's not all, the trailer also teased the arrival of Muse - a sadistic serial killer that Daredevil will be taking on. As of now, the actor behind the mask remains unknown.

Taking a look at the villains of Daredevil: Born Again
Wilson Fisk / Kingpin
Vincent D'Onofrio will return to play the Wilson Fisk / Kingpin in Daredevil: Born Again. The actor made his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut in Hawkeye where he was revealed to be the man behind the tracksuit mafia and the criminal ongoings in the show. He was then the primary antagonist of Echo and will return once more in the upcoming series.
It looks like in the upcoming Daredevil series, he will be running for the Mayor of New York City which will once again put him in the path of Matt Murdock. The last interaction between the two (Daredevil season 3) saw Matt reveal his identity as Daredevil to Fisk and it looks like the rivalry between the two will continue as well.
Benjamin Poindexter / Bullseye
Actor Wilson Bethel will reprise his role as Benjamin Poindexter in Daredevil: Born Again. The actor was last seen in Daredevil season 3 where he had his back broken by Wilson Fisk, and it was also teased that the character will be returning as Bullseye soon.
The trailer for the upcoming series does promise that. For those who don't know, Benjamin Poindexter is someone who used to work in the FBI and can turn any object into a projectile weapon. He was corrupted once he joined forces with the Kingpin.
Muse
As of now, it is currently unknown who is playing the role of Muse, but the villain will be making his debut in the upcoming show. In the comics, Muse was a part of Charles Soule's run on the character and he was a sadistic murderer who went around killing people, thinking he was giving them a purpose in death.
However, his ideologies directly clashed with Daredevil's as he was confused as to why the hero would go out of his way to protect his victims. His role is unclear in the show, but fans can expect something similar to the comics. In the teaser, he dons a white mask and a white outfit with bloody streaks.
