Star Wars: Skeleton Crew follows a group of four children from the modern planet of At Attin, who find an abandoned ship, the Onyx Cinder. They accidentally activate it, launching themselves into space.

The planet was once the secret base of Tak Rennod's and has since been turned into a luxury resort with some remnants of his past still left.
