Aubrey Plaza was phenomenal from the very beginning of The White Lotus season 2, which received immense critical acclaim, and so did the actress. Aubrey Plaza reveals bizarre reason for not watching The White Lotus season 2 in latest interview
Plaza, who had previously also shared her aversion to streaming platforms, revealed in her latest interview that she missed out on all the episodes of her acclaimed work because she could not log into her HBO Max account.
She told the magazine:
"I still haven’t, but I’m going to,...To be honest, I had trouble opening my HBO Max account when I was trying to watch it originally. I couldn’t figure out the password and I usually just give up when I can’t figure out the passwords. I just can’t handle things like that."
She further added her preferred mode of watching this show, or any show, saying:
"I’d love a DVD, but they don’t send DVD sets anymore,...I ask them every time."
Before this issue with her HBO Max, Plaza did watch the first season of the show, which also got her interested in the role that she took on in the second season. She had even discussed her excitement after watching The White Lotus season 1 in an interview with Variety back in 2022. She had said:
"I was a fan of Season 1, but more importantly, I was a big Mike White fan...So I’m very excited to work with him. I’m very honored to be on this television series, and I hope I don’t let everybody down. It seems like everyone watched this show."
